History of Bay Automotive           

The Wilkins Family has deep roots in Norfolk's automobile business. The Norfolk Motor Company was founded in 1938 at 1500 Monticello Avenue by Walter Wilkins. In 1955 Wilkins Chevrolet began business on Military Hwy.  Bay Chevrolet was then established on February 11, 1981 by the current owner and President, Walter Wilkins II.

Today, Bay Automotive is fast becoming the largest Kia dealership in Hampton Roads, selling a wide range of Kia, Saab, and Pre-Owned vehicles.  Our AAA Approved Service, Parts and Collision Repair Facilities are all on one convenient site just a mile from Norfolk International Airport.
